The certificates that a computer engineer must have to get a good placement.

There are many online sites offering certification . Are they good. Means these certificates that they give they even matter .
And if yes they matter then what are the best sites. If anyone can forward the links

most of the website those provide free certificate are not of enough value because usually they teach teach basics or the fundamentals of the course known as also beginners level courses..
in order to get Certificate then checkout paid courses for intermidate and advanced level courses..
for those courses visit udemy, treehouse , edX, khanacademy

a better alternative than certificate would be showing your github profile.
Contribute to some open source project and it would worth much more than some random certificates
