Best text editor for HTML, JS, CSS??

Everbody has their favorite. You'll have to try all and find the one that suits you. That said, Atom is damn good. It's heavily customizable, and free. PS: please don't use notepad.

Brackets...It also allow you to run code through the editor...

Brackets is a good editor. I have used bluefish, notepad++, sublime text too but my preference goes to brackets.

I uses windows xp and writing on sublime text.Think this very good editor.

You can easily use notepad or a common text editor, you only have to write the code and save it as example.html, .js or .css ( it depend on which programming language you want to use). Hope I helped you
