Python has mature, polymorphic design patterns for surprisingly complex concepts in other languages, so I tend to see it as intended for rapid prototyping.

Perhaps it's related to final consumers* who can't/won't wait for GIMMIE SHINY NOW.

* Investors, shareholders, TL;DR, rabid content consumers (omg this is boring, click, click). And yes, efficient admins with better things to do.
