Glue language

Question

I've been having fun on the Sololearn challenges, but I still don't know exactly why Python is called glue language. Are there any resources or tutorials to learn more about this? Thanks!

A glue language is basically a language that uses many different modules and libraries that all combine different languages to create certain things.
