Please help! I cant understand some html5 elements such as the article header and footer is it really needed for some purpose??

i cant uderstand the real use of the html5 elements such as article, header, footer etc... is it really matters for using it for some purpose... is it has special uses??

Yes they have their own purpose.Using html5 elements can help search engines very much and they make our code more semantic.For example,rather than using a class or id of header inside div element,Using header tag can help SE to understand the code structure more efficiently and interpret the code more semantically.And it is also more readable to human.isn't?
