C is mother of all modern programming language. Stop listening to others who say that python, ruby or any other programming languages is better. Though C has a difficult syntax but its logic is practical. Programmers find easier to apply their logic in C rather than any other language.

Most of the applications are C based. Opengl, socket programming, parallel programming are mostly done by C. C++ and C# are super-set of it. Learning these three languages is enough for becoming proficient in programming.

Since C is a procedural language it is extremely fast. Millions of iterations are performed in a second. it can be used in low level programming for hardware access.

It saves your precious time. Can directly be run in a shell or command prompt. IDEs like Dev C++ and codeblocks can compile and run the code in one click. they also show error. Error correction is very easy, as it generates error which simple humans can understand.

uses data types rather than stupid notation. Here brain is required to convert from one data type to another. I have seen people who can’t even reverse a string and they say themselves a hacker.

What are you planning to do with coding? Most people either answer video game development or web development. For video games see my recent guide I posted. For web development try PHP JavaScript or HTML.

I’m not sure which I would vote best.🤔 you might want to wait for someone more experienced in your situation.(not even in high school til this fall 😂) I can say that I learned JavaScript and wasn’t super impressed with it but that’s my personal opinion.

Yeah. I only have an hour or two a day to work on my video game. So it’s been a very slow, but thankfully I have the sololearn community helping me along the way!
