Struggling with Python challenges

I want to do challenges whole day but on the other side I don't want to lose my XP... I know I should practice/learn more but some challenges are just too hard for me to understand...

You ain't lying! 😂 The struggle is real and I, too, feel your pain with Python challenges. 😨 I wouldn't worry about the XP. Rather, for those challenge questions you don't fully understand, spend some time researching the topic and experimenting with the code. In doing so, you will learn so much more with an understanding that will help with other challenge questions. If you are concerned about XP, disable Python as a weapon to prevent people from challenging you. At least early on. Target only people with much higher XP in Python so that you can gain 1 to 3 points, even if you lose. This will minimize your XP loss as you get ramped up. Also, don't keep doing challenges until you've really have a solid handle on the questions you don't fully understand. This might feel like it will take forever. But, really, you'll be locking down some core foundational concepts into your mind, which is far more important. Oh... and notice how I said, focus on what you don't fully understand, rather than what you miss? Be honest with yourself on whether or not you understood the answer or if you just memorized it. Understanding will lead to more success, not only in challenges, but in practice as well.

Challenge those users who have more XP in Python than you. Then you will not lose XP. If you don't understand some challenge quizzes, you can create a question in the Q&A and then someone may answer and explain you😊

Obbu... Did you leave some part of the question out? Based on what you posted, the answer appears it be 13. Am I missing something?

You aren't dumb! LOL... Those questions intentionally try to throw you off which is worsened by the timer. 😉

Yep. If an answer doesn’t make sense, go play around with the idea/syntax in the Code Editor until you are comfortable with it.
