Personally, I hate Python, so I suppose to answer your question, interest is simply relative to the one judging something. I don't imagine any of us can tell you what you find to be interesting.

The better question is, do YOU find interest in Python? If not, and if it's not a requirement, then find something that you enjoy doing. Trust me, we're all going to die eventually, so don't waste your life away doing a bunch of stuff you hate doing. Purpose of life is to live the purpose you create for your life. If you want to be happy in your purpose, then pick a purpose that you enjoy; one you're passionate about.
