Best language for app development

I'm interested in application building but I'm not sure what is the best language would be to focus on

You can learn Kotlin and Java to do it natively. Recently, Google also released the Flutter framework to make applications on Android (with Dart).

In the same way you can use C# with Xamarin to make multiplatform applications. Also if you like the web you can use Nativescript or React Native to make applications (and there are many more options).

Currently there are many alternatives to develop on Android.
