Anyone used Aircrack.ng?

I was just reading about kali linux, then I came across this software Aircrack.ng, does it really work? can it crack a wifi password?

yes it can, there are many scenarios though.
if the wifi encryption is WEP . It's 100% possible
if it uses WPA or WPA2 , you will have to use a dictionary attack. which needs a powerful gpu or gpus , still it depends on the length of the password. the longer the password the harder it gets to crack it .
there are other ways around the WPA such as reaver or bully, that exploit WPS .
just try with your own wifi to stay out of trouble.
