What's wrong with the code playground? Why are there suddenly so many dislikes on many programs?!

First of All: I haven't ever had a project that had more dislikes than likes. Gennerally speaking, I don't think the amazing Sololearn cummunity habe a lot of dislikes at all. But now, after I got lots of notifications that s.o. liked my newest project, it actually has a score of -2! Am I just unloved, or do you experience the same problems as well?

Ehy guys! It happened to me before. They disliked all my codes/comments with around 8 accounts. Send an email to contact SoloLearn and they will solve the problem. It is important to report this as it might escalate quickly and good well written codes would get downvoted while bad codes and wrong answers upvoted making SoloLearn community not trustworthy. You can find contact details on SoloLearn.com. I believe it is somebody using multiple accounts but the girl seems positive about those alliances. SoloLearn fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes after I send the email and told me they were fake accounts and that they deleted them. In my report I told them my nickname email associated and at what time that happened roughly. Hope this will help you! // Editing. I have just emailed SoloLearn about this. The email is info@sololearn.com in case you want to report it too.

Is there maybe a way to find out who disliked all my Codes? Because you Can look up who likes your Code, and in case you could find out which these Troll acounts are I could report them...

Yeah... but I don't seem to be the only one with this Problem... If you look in the "Recent" list, there are nearly all programs disliked...

Seems pretty likely ^^ But actually that makes it pretty likely that Sololearn might want to solve the Problem...

Well, thanks @Burey, but isn't there a way to prevent this from happening? Eventhough likes and so on aren't really important, they kind of show what others think of your programs... Getting a ton of dislikes for a cool project I worked on for Hours is pretty disturbing :/

I wouldn't mind if they have a reason and shared it as a comment, it'd actually help me learn from my mistakes, especially if the reason was legitimate.

Now I'll see if sending a mail to the support helps...

all it takes is one bored troll to make a bunch of accounts and downvote. don't sweat it, that's his/her thing of joy. yours is obviously programming and it seems from your codes that you are good in it just keep doing what you love 👍

I'll be honest, I really like all of your codes. Especially gor a programmer that isn't all that into graphics, like myself. Keep up the awesome work!

well, it definitly sucks when something like this happens. working hard on something only to get this kind of treatment from some bored individual who obviously has nothing better to do. i guess the team at sololearn could check for IP addresses if they keep record on that for the likes/dislikes system but for now, just take comfort in that there is someone going out of his way to bum you out 😂

seems they do not show dislikes only likes if only we had "Least Popular Codes" filter in the playground, that would kinda solve it 😝

Generally speaking, I would imagine codes might be downvoted if codes are not working or if codes are not likable or unwholesome, but mostly if you post a broken code, to get a thumbs down is to be expected.

my recent one too although it's just an upgrade to an existing one and it does not working perfectly, so i rather fix everything before rolling major changes anyway, i guess we are headed for a negative revcord 😂

You have some really nice programs. Upvoted. Not sure why someone would downvote them. Could just be someone who has a grudge and is creating multiple accounts.
