How can I save login credentials in android programmatically?

I am learning android by developing some small apps using AIDE on play store that's why I was absent on SoloLearn for a week.
Now I have learned how to use Intents but not about how to save some details like login credentials yet.
Please help me so that I can complete my studies and can come back to SoloLearn again.
