Why is java script so hard

what is your source of learning? Do you repeat code which you see it? Every code copy paste for beginning latter try to find some small task or just try to implement what you learn it. Step by step.

JavaScript isn't hard. It might contain some harder and some easier portions. However, difficulty in learning is not always about the language. It's about the way of understanding and learning. Maybe, you can learn it from other resources... Just try w3schools, edx, learnability, etc.
Note: You should know about HTML and CSS first
