SSL error for https requests in Ruby

Hi,

I'm trying to get a json object from an http uri, but for some reason the sololearn playground restricts https requests. Does anyone know a workaround for this?

Yup. Use your local machine or a server instead of doing real projects on Code Playground. Code Playground is limited for security and resources considerations.
