I agree with Sreejith. Quality learning means taking your time. Understanding the basics is essential. The renowned physicist Richard Feynman was quite young and unknown when he joined The Manhattan Project team. The other famous physicists were much older and far more experienced. They wondered what he was doing there! However, his newbie status gave him the advantage of being able to ask 'stupid' questions, the other experts were afraid to ask. This meant he could learn the basics and the absolute fundamentals of the project. One day he managed to complete a very complex wiring issue. The others were astounded by his skill. Sometimes learning slowly but thoroughly, can make you overtake a 'fast' learner! Not many people understand this in education!

C++ is actually not that big, according to me
you should give time to object oriented programming concept and understand basics of that, so that it would be easy for you to understand the c++ and how its actually implementated in the physical world.. Oop will also help you understand other languages (like java) and it will be easy for you to switch between different fields of programming

Juan-Pierre Crause maybe you could offer an answer to your own question? I am starting on 10/24/2018, I will try to give an answer after I finish.
without knowing the overall difficulty level of the course content or the "completeness" of the entire course as a whole.
I am curious as to the general length of time it would take to simply "read through" the course content and answer the questions.
If anyone reading this has completed the course (or any courses) let us know what level of proficiency you would rate your programming skills before and after the course.
I have just about zero programming skills at the start, so I look forward to updating this answer!
