The Great Python English Dictionary Database

Question

I am in the process of coding and entering the definition for as many words as possible so that one can simply input the first letter of a word and the word itself to find its definition. Since it is a very large project, anyone can (and please) contribute in entering new definitions in the program. I will release the program with at least 300 words already in it very soon. What do you think about it? I’ll reply here2 with the link as soon as I publish it, and will try to update it and add words when I can.

aren't there already dictonary databases for this sorta thing? and words need very technical definitions, there are people whose job it is to write them. unless you have a linguistics degree I wouldn't reccomend making entries manually by yourself. I instead reccomend taking from already available dictonary databases and api's and instead focus on its gui

if anyone can edit the source then the db wont be so reliable....
