Confused input format

Question

When the input format asks me:

The first line contains a single integer n denoting the number of employees. Then, n lines follow. The ith of them contains a single integer rating denoting the rating of the ith employee.

Output format:
Print a single line containing a real number denoting the average rating of employees.

Some are easier than others but some are down right confusing.
