How To, Shorten HTML/CSS Comments?

Question

I have begun writing a website, following along with the website (www.washington.edu/accesscomputing/webd2/student/index.html) our teacher has given us in high school right now.
So, long story short, I was making 1 or 2 comments here & there and wanted to know if there was anyway to format long comments like
/* The site I will be using today is www.washington.edu/accesscomputing/webd2/student/index.html*/
so that I do not have to scroll all the way to the right to see it in full view in my code.

depends on the text editor you are using . I use gedit which automatically minimises the comments

actually ...Linux is best for these tasks . you can use virtualbox if you want to try

Well, I used Notepad++ and the text editors on SoloLearn and dash.generalassemb.ly

Dash is a website and the Web address is exactly how it looks.
