Can I do web development with a 2gb ram laptop ?

Hello everyone. I'm planning on building a niche classified website or online marketplace for the students in my school. But I'm on a limited budget and cannot afford a high spec computer for now. So I want to know if I can code both the front and back end of the site on a 2gb ram computer. Thanks.

Yep, you can. What is going to demand resources is the web browser, but the traditional tools for web development don't have such a high consumption.
