How to Call a friend profile's name as a Green link. If I call him/her in comments or discussions, will he/she notice that I called him/her in that comments or discussions? (Will they receive any notifications?)

If I type @ I get a list of people I can choose from. The list looks like a combination from people related to this thread and the people I am following. If I choose somebody from the list then there will be a green link.

Dont... Your have to write @name but you must select fronm appearing list the "name" item else dont work
