Python 2 or 3?

Of course, in technology you might abide by Barney Stinson’s rule, “new is always better,” but I feel like this isn’t necessarily the case with Python. Which version do you use/prefer? Or do you use both for different projects? I use Python 2 but prefer the syntax of Python 3.

Being an Arch Linux user, living on the bleeding edge feels right and you should really be using the newer Python version.

support for 2 is running out... see https://pythonclock.org i am new to pythom myself, but as i read python 3 is supposed to be sustainable compatible to future versions it would be wise to go into 3 rather than 2 right off the start
