Is it a good idea to reward top users (ranked 1) in the Leaderboard?

this system is executed some time ago when monthly topper has provided some xp and champion trophy sign
but I don't think it should be back because challenge system is way better then before in previous years the draw gives 0 xp but now draws too give xp

Yea I think it's a good idea!
It could fire up users and motivate them. Nonetheless, it may makes one pretty much higher than the others

Well, I think it is a reward in itself for a user to rank that high. Why would he or she need another sort of external validation for that achievement? And why should SoloLearn give that sort of external validation?... SoloLearn, in my opinion, gives out enough badges to motivate us but we are "grown-ups" and I think we should be doing this stuff for ourselves and the skills we learn and so on... And not because, once again we are congratulated and recognized.

I don't understand why they removed it..
It will be a great motivating feature to compete with fellow coders/learners
