First off, nothing else will "fix it" for you. That's 100% on you to do or not to do, because it's a CHOICE that you're already making, not a circumstance that's happening to you. You're aware of what's happening and the results of it, so you need to ask yourself some other questions. Why do I do this? What do I want to really be doing with my time? What am I passionate about? What do I want to do in the future? What do I want to have in the future? ... The point I'm getting at with the questions, what is your purpose or intention? What is your vision/dream for your life? If you don't have a vision, then you don't have direction, so you can dip off the path anytime you want because you're just wandering instead of being focused on a set point you want to get to.
The truth of the matter is that there are going to be a LOT of times that you're bored, tired, or just don't feel like working on anything today. Motivation isn't something that you wait to appear in order to do things, and it's certainly not a requirement to accomplish what you want to accomplish. If you relied on motivation as the key to bring you to success, then you're going to fail. The reality is that many days you won't want to work on something for whatever your reasoning, but it's something you need to do if you want what you think you want. If I stopped my grind because I was tired, I would never accomplish anything because I'm always tired. As they say, the Universe doesn't place brick walls in front of us to keep us out, but to keep out those who don't want it badly enough.
You need to find your vision so that you can find your reasons for why you do what you do. When you know why you're learning to program, and it's a strong enough reason for YOU, then nothing is going to stand in your way of getting what you want. Until you find that vision, that voice in your head will constantly tell you that you could be doing other things instead, and you'll do other things instead.
Best of luck! Never forget your dream.
