Why are some topics tutorials and others are not?

Specifically, why do I get points for some topics and not for others?

Sean McMahon the official longer courses with questions award points the others are newer lessons added by members.

Honestly I don't know I would like them myself. I'm guessing without the questions there is no real way to know you reviewed it perhaps?
