Tips for getting the most out of SoloLearn?
Hi all, I'm a design student looking to boost my skills in programming and I was wondering if you guys have any tips on getting the most out of SoloLearn? I currently spend a lot of time commuting so I fire it up to get some extra practice on syntax and basic concepts but do more extended learning / projects through YouTube, other sites etc. How do you guys use it? I was also kind of curious about the coding challenges - do most of you guys actually write that code in SoloLearn or do you write it on a computer and copy it in? I'm thinking about how hard it be to type out all that code on my phone...

At some point, we have to admit that the millennials have well-greased fingers and are putting them to good use. I wouldn't doubt that there are learners among us who are typing hundreds of lines of codes using nothing but a mobile phone and sheer will, as we speak. :>
Anyway, this may be a thread that interests you. Everyone has their own methods at maximizing the effectiveness of learning with SoloLearn, but here are some general tips you can take into account.

- I think you can get the most out of SoloLearn by enjoying to talk and help other programmers here but it's also fun to complete some challenges or posting new codes and learning some new content. But I would especially recommend trying to get more followers and upvotes on your posts and codes as fast as possible because it's also a kind of training for building your company there you also will have lots of users and it prepares you for it.
- I personally use often other programs like Udemy, Udacity, W3Schools because SoloLearn is explaining currently only the basics and if I want to learn something about connecting servers with PHP or RegEx I have to watch tutorials there but I think that soon it wouldn't be necessary because SoloLearn is growing by every day.
- I just keep it simple I write small and easy codes on mobile and the rest on the computer.😜😃

I used my android phone to code a lot of android apps and programs using AIDE app and SoloLearn.
I have recently created a new app-"AndroidMarket" and it is the result of about 10,000 lines of Java and XML code that I have completely typed on my phone.

If do you want practice on mobile also, i suggest you to install other apps (SL its limited in some contexts)... At example if you uae python, try QPython where you have an offline interpreter (and you can install module also)... Install text editors also like QuickEdit or DroidEdit (on android) for an easy work... Futhermore try to download on your phone all resources needed for offline reading

Hi, I do almost all of my codings on computer since is easy for me to reuse the code. I only use the app when I quickly try to understand some codes that I don't find easy to understand.
