Can anyone please help me debug this code?

Question

The problem statement is to Print "Valid" in the Second Textbox, if the Text entered in the first Textbox is same as the previous entered text ,only after clicking 'Submit', otherwise it prints "Invalid", given that FIRST TIME you enter anything in the first text box it prints "Valid" in second text box after clicking the Submit button and thereafter it checks for another input and responses accordingly as mentioned above.
