How can I create a Spyware with C++?

Hello I'd like to know how to write a Spyware because I want to troll my friend. I know it looks like a kiddy but I'm interested how a Spyware works.

For hacking things I'd prefer Python, because it has built in networking functions which are useful for this type of task. When in comes to learning about spyware just google it, it's a broad topic, so it'd be best for you to just straight dive in the topic. I'm just gonna tell you, it isn't one day lesson, you will spend some good hours just reading.

why would you make one when you can just use an existing RAT? those have built in keyloggers, you get access to things like webcam and mic and a bunch of other stuff too lol
