Lost android phone , track using IMEI

Question

on my way home yesterday i think i dropped my phone or sth ! . i have managed to find IMEI of the device
i was wondering if anyone has experience tracking lost phoneswith IMEI to guide me. ive tried finding a program in kali for that cause its "kali!" but i only know of the ip locator in perl.

Try using the google find my phone.You just need your phone to have your google account signed in.You can sign into your account from pc and track the location or send message to the person who has found it.You can also lock the phone or delete your data to protect the data incase you think you cannot get it back

i did check that but i only got my last address b4 it went off and i lost it... what if the person resets my accounts,will i still be able to find it?

your google account should let you locate and find the device if you linked your phone to it.
