Couple of questions

Hi is it normal to be getting confused in javascript after finishing the whole tutorial? 😂😂And whats the main thing to succeed in programming/javascript what is the most important thing in this language? What is better software developer or a programmer?

Hey there,

The wonderful thing about software development/software engineering is that there is always something to learn. Even after 5+ years as a career developer I am still learning new stuff every day I sit down to write some code. It’s the nature of the beast. If all you have done is take this tutorial there are still many things to learn. Get out there and write a few applications, open the developer tools in chrome and start playing with pages and seeing how javascript can be utilized on a fully fleshed out page.

The last thing I wanted to say is on the question of what language to use. Javascript is powerful, fun, and easy to pick up. It’s becoming increasignly popular in the industry and is a great tool to have under your belt. You will certainly be able to find javascript work out ther to do. There are other easy languages to learn though. I am a PERL developer by trade, but I recently picked up java and ruby. I think that ruby is an incredibly easy language to learn, and it teaches you more about Object Oriented Programming than javascript will.
