I knew nothing about programming before I joined around a year ago. Now I can make pretty cool things, and while I'm still probably quite far away from landing a job, I guess entering high school with lots of knowledge on programming is something that's pretty cool. The service itself has been great throughout my usage of it. The UI was a little confusing at first, but I got used to it quickly. The quizzes I feel weren't really to test you, but rather to enforce the concept in your memory, while the challenges helped me improve at reading code. The Q&A section was/is really helpful as well.

This app is useful for those who hesitate or who is unsure of to be a programmer or not to be. It provides enough information and gives enough knowledge for a beginner to decide whether he wants to develop in this science or not. However, this app won't make you a programmer.

Sololearn is probably the best way to use your phone. <3 And It doesn't stay with one content!!!People post different types of lessons on different topics regularly which really help me learn new things everyday! And by challenging and doing other stuffs I've came out with a lot of good people. And our community is getting stronger Day by Day. In brief,It's Amazing coding community app. <3

It helped me to learn new languages and concepts and to reinforce my knowledge on a language I already knew. It is, however more directed towards beginners. Good use for a mobile phone too. Also keeps me away from mindless social media.

In my honest opinion, Sololearn is not good, for those starting out from absolute scratch (NOW, HOLD ON, HEAR ME OUT).. It's a great review tool, and I highly recommend you go through each course, after you learn it first, elsewhere, when you're a beginner, but you will never go from zero, to "programming-ready" just by using Sololearn, unless you take time to go through and manually practice each concept, in your own time. Even then, lots is left out, particularly practicing and applying algorithms and data structures. I would not have become comfortable with HTML, CSS, and Javascript, with Sololearn, alone. It doesn't teach you how to "think" like a programmer, if you're brand-new. HOWEVER, if you already know 1 language, even if you've only been coding for a month, Sololearn is excellent for learning a 2nd. Within 30 minutes, I could do fairly advanced algorithms in PHP, after only a few weeks already practicing JS, & Python felt wayyy too easy (partially, because these aren't as complex to learn,
