asp.net VS php

which is better asp.net or php ?

ASP.Net is a Microsoft product. I have web hosting with a company that does not support it. A server still needs to support PHP but it's easier to support. I can build a huge web app with ease using ASP.NET and visual studio. When I use PHP it's not very functional by itself. You will still need to know html. If you want to jump right in, using drag and drop to build web apps, ASP.NET is the way to go. If you want to learn web apps because you love to code, then PHP will add more ammo to your arsenal.

I prefer ASP.NET. But you cannot say that one is better than the other.
