Is the align attribute of <p> not supported in HTML5?

Loving this app so far, but in this lesson it says in a note ”The align attribute of <p> is not supported in HTML5.”
It seems like it works perfectly and is exactly what the lesson teaches you to do... Is this not HTML5 or is this note not true?

WRONG ---> The align attribute of <p> is not supported in HTML5.

CORRECT --> The align attribute of <p> is DEPRECEATED in HTML5.
