Promoting something

I remembered seeing a rule that promoting something is prohibited in sololearn, yet some people put a link to a YouTube channel, website, etc in their code. Is it really okay?

If it's your YouTube channel related to programming and it can help us to learn something plus it's not profitable then I guess it's fine.
but but but...yeah it's a thin line between acceptable and not acceptable. I think mods make final decision 😐
