Is its difficult to understand php??

Question

I am beginner, i studied mechanical engg but i was interested in coding. After all my efforts towards my steam i failed to achieve. I am starting with PHP language.

I think php isn't difficult to understand, he's like a scripting language (bash for example). You can easily and faster make little funny thing. :)

I started learning Java 3 years ago. This year I started learning php and i have to say i don't like it that much. The syntax in php is pretty different to something like Java, C# or C++. If you want to keep programming over a longer period of time, I would suggest you to learn Java or C#. Both are easy to understand and after some period of time you are able to understand the basic concepts of PHP without spending much time on learning it.
