How could I automate telephone testing?

I work for an English school and each month I have to call every student and ask them 10 set questions and grade their answers. I'd love to be able to automate this and have the students call a number, recording each answer to prerecorded questions. I could then grade the recordings at leisure. Any ideas as to frameworks or libraries that could help me build a system like this?

Wouldn't just having them call you and leaving a voicemail message with all the answers meet the requirements? They can also email you an audio file. 🤔
