As a focus for desktop app development, which is better focus? Java?, python?, .net like C# and basic?

Python is mostly used in Data science, data manipulation, machine learning and AI. It is also used as a backend language in many websites.
Java can be used to create all sorts of applications ranging from simple programs to desktop and mobile applications. Java is most widely used to make Android apps.
C# (or .Net) is by Microsoft and can be used to create many Window applications and console programs.
So if you want to make Desktop app applications , procede either with Java or C# in my opinion.

If you go with Java, it will make it easy to throw out android apps of the same programs you make for desktop. The other languages can as well, but I vote Java for that reason
