Please help me. Append works so strangely.

Question

I cannot find bug. Append does not appends. I changes all of element to the list what I want to append.
Maybe something was wrong but I cannot find.

I hope like this.
[1]
[1,2]
[1,2,3]
[1,2,3,4]

But it works like
[1]
[2,2]
[3,3,3]
[4,4,4,4]

How can it does with .append?????
Please help me. Thankyou.

Thanks for your help.
I really wanted it works like yours.

But It doesn't. In the end of the code there are bug report.
