What would be a good language for a beginner to start in that wants to learn how to code apps and games?
I am a absolute beginner. I know some html and css but started to get confused with css when I got to bootstrap. I'm looking for advice on where to start and what to practice for a overwhelmed beginner.

Hello, How are you? Well, I dunno very well about code apps and games, but I may help you.
For you I sugest to begin learning Javascript, with it you may create games and animations in websites.
When you domine Javascript, advance to Android/Java (for Android's games and apps) or Swift (for Apple's games and apps).
Anything, just tell that I help you ✌✌

Oh, I got it. No, JAVA and JAVASCRIPT aren't the same.
About the game's field,
- JAVASCRIPT is used in websites' games. For example: you visit a website and there are games. With this, you don't need download it, cos it stays in website.
- JAVA is used in mobiles and desktop games that you need download. For example: much games present in AppStore and, let me see, Steam, are written in JAVA.
Soo, abridging, JAVASCRIPT is for games present in websites, that you don't need download, while JAVA is for móbiles and desktop games that you need download before to play.
If you wanna make an app or mobile's game, I guess better you learn JAVA and, after, ANDROID STUDIO
