Tag <big> & <small>

Question

I know that these tags are valid but I didn’t really see it in anyone’s code. So my question is “is it that these tag are not useful or is it other reasons?”

I guess it's just that as people learn more css they tend to keep the html tab short and simple while doing all the design work in CSS..... atleast that's how I do😊

I agree with Madhav's statement, and would like to add that, from my point of view as a web developer, it is not sustainable nor preferable to use lesser known HTML elements, as different browsers / devices have the potential to display things differently, which may lead to undesirable results. CSS is a much more reliable option as everything can be exactly defined. Hope that helps. Cheers.

I guess they are helpful to the ppl who are yet to learn CSS, as HTML is the first choice to learn by most of the ppl, it's helpful for them. Well that's what I think.... It may be wrong😅

It's to do with text size. But I feel it is pretty useless now we have CSS

Using tags like "big" or "small" is bad practice because the html markup is supposed to describe the contents of the page, not how it should presented.
You should always separate the markup and styling (with css) to make it easier for search engines to understand what the website is about.

Big and small are the basic tags of HTML that why we learned this tag you question is that this are not useful as per requirement we can use this tag if someone do not want that other options there

Exampe If you did style all body size Deferent accept this tag you don't want style it in CSS because it will be slower way you use this tag i think it will be Fast & Easy Way .
