The advantages of each programming language

I learned a big amount of programming languages. But now, when I need to do a project I don't know what language to use. Perhaps I don't know enough what are the different between java, python and c. How can I know what is the ultimate language for one type of project?

When choosing what language to use, it almost always comes down to the type of project you're making and how well certain languages work with different tools to develop that program.

For example, say you wanted to develop a 2D platformer for PC. You could start by seeing how to develop games, with the most popular way being using a game engine, with some of the more popular ones being Unity and Unreal Engine. Unity has excellent support for 2D game development, and as it primarily uses C#, you could decide to develop with that.
