Am Learning Python, Java, JavaScript, C++ and Ruby. Is that good for a learner?

The part of "Java can run on any platform" still got me confused, though. Does it mean Java codes can run on Python IDE?

Its good learning many languages, but do you know why you are learning all of them? Perhaps you may need two for the start, become proficient in them and as time goes by, you will see what other languages you need. Start with python and java maybe. That way, you can use their frameworks to do web, mobile, desktop...etc, get a good job if u wish with just two languages. Forexample, I started with html, css, php (basic for web programming). Then I landed a job where I was required to learn java and I did. (thats 4 languages now). I later realised I needed JavaScript and I learned it. Recently I was required to do sth in vb.net, I am learning it. That makes it 6 languages but they added up for a reason. Maybe you could adopt a similar approach.

It's awesome if you can learn all at once without getting confused. Otherwise, do them sequentially, switching only after you have got some competence in a language.

It means that you can run Java on Windows, Linux and other Systems. Java virtual machine (JVM) is the interface. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_virtual_machine

Btw: Your question doesn't fit to your description. It is a bit confusing. Many people learn different programming languages and some people are learning theese languages at the same time. If it is not confusing to you, then it is okay. Otherwise choose a language which you like and learn only this.

Learning many lamguages at once is like putting feet on two different cycles at time , Master one language and then move to other it will be lot easier to learn next
