Why people make simple codes and gets many likes?

Because there are many of those who are starters, or begginers in programming.. When they see something simple, and something that they can understand and that they can try to make themselves, they like it.. Something more complex that many don't get, can't be really popular, except those nice looking amazing 'Web' projects.

I think its not about the code. its about the network. i mean comunity that you can touch. if you have a thousand friend on facebook when you share your code almost thousand people get your code and try than like it....

small piece of code are.good to demonstrate one simple concept and so some people may like them for doing just that?
