Is the dijkstra algorithm used to find the lowest way? Can someone explain it in details? Thanks

It's been so long since I've seen Djikstra, but the Algorithm helps you determine the Shortest Path from Point A to Point B in a graph, given that each Path(connections from Point to Point) has their own weight.
