How much is too much?

How many divs can we place under a single div and how many more can be placed under those divs and so on?

I never encountered a limit. The page just becomes slower the more you add.
But from different sources i have heard that it is possible to add arround 100-200 in side each other.

If you go just 1 level deep for exampla and have one div and add all divs to that one level you can add many many more before it becomes slow.
