Angular can do a lot more by itself, but is harder to learn, due to TypeScript and more complexity. React is easier to learn, but can't do quite as much by itself, without additional modules. You should probably learn both to be a competent developer.

Noah Angular is a framework. React is library.

Angular is huge with many dependencies. React is lighter. Angular is little slower than react.

We can embed react in Angular also.

Currently, React is growing faster than Angular.
