Should I study Computer Sciences

I‘m still in school and I have no idea what to study. By now my favorite subjects are maths, physics, computer sciences but also history, philosophy and politics.
Since it is possible to end up doing something in the tech branch, it is an option to study computer sciences.
On the other hand you can learn most of that on your own so I could as well study something else to ensure finding a job by more options.
So my question is: Is studying computer sciences worth it? Or should I use it as an extra skill?

Computer science isn’t a must have to become a system developer. However, if you feel that it’s a path you want to take then you’ll definetly be able to apply for more technical positions if you have the education.

If you’re applying to larger companies like Google, you have a much better shot with a degree in CS then if you’re self taught.
