Thoughts on the A.I. Revolution

With Modern advances in computer processing power and A.I. Programs, the creation of true “sentient” A.I. will soon be upon us. Some experts say as soon as 2050. Any thoughts? Ethics? Limitations? Terminator?

humans have barely mastered how to use their minds to their fullest potential.
Humans barely know how technology works, and most value posesson of tech rather than comprehension of tech.
Machines are quickly outmoding humans in varous industries
The current generation will not survive unless they shift their values from posession of tech to comprehension of tech.
