Turtle graphics is an old creation. According to wikipedia it was developed in the late 60s, when computers mainly used by scientists. In python this is a module in the standard library. It provides an easy tool to enhance the codes with vector graphics. Sololearn's code playground is not supporting the turtle module.

Turtle graphics was created for didactic purposes. It was used to teach children some basic programming. I don't think it's used in professional code.
