div is used to slice the code into sections.
You can stylish a div element and all elements inside it will stylish the same.(sorry for bad english)
class and id are used only in css. You can stylish an certain element from html , by giving it an class or id , and using those in css like:
.class
#id
you can give the same class to more elements , but id is unique , and you can assing the same name only to one tag.
