Where to begin with programing sounds for a rhasberry pi 3 using python?

I'm still fairly new to all this, however I would like some tips and hints as to how to program it to make noises and sounds with the push of a button. More specifically car noises, as I work in a museum and have been tasked with fixing this for an upcoming exhibit and could really use the help.
